Infermeres de Catalunya, el sindicato de enfermeras y enfermeros que durante el 2023 ha liderado una de las protestas más unánimes que se recuerda del colectivo y que ha mantenido el pulso con el Gobierno con una huelga de mes y medio, nació hace tan solo cuatro años en un McDonalds, durante una comida entre un grupo de enfermeras de distintos centros. Allí decidieron “liarse la manta a la cabeza” y formar un sindicato exclusivo para enfermeras y enfermeros de Catalunya que diera respuesta a las necesidades reales de estos profesionales. Ahora, después de un año de intensas movilizaciones de los profesionales del sector y de la ciudadanía, da un paso adelante y empieza una nueva aventura con distintas asociaciones y otros sindicatos más pequeños de todo el territorio español (por el momento participan colectivos de Andalucía, Aragón, Galicia, Madrid, País Vasco y Valencia).
El primer encuentro “presencial” de esta nueva confederación sindical de enfermeras del Estado español tuvo lugar el pasado viernes en Madrid, tras la reunión del consejero Manel Balcells con la ministra de Sanidad Mónica García, durante la que García se comprometió a llevar a cabo la reclasificación profesional de las enfermeras en el nivel A1 este mismo año 2024. Un millar de enfermeras y enfermeros se manifestó ese día ante el Ministerio de Sanidad, y posteriormente se llevó a cabo una asamblea interterritorial donde se empezó a dar forma a esta nueva confederación de sindicatos de enfermeras.
La presidenta de Infermeres de Catalunya, Núria Guirado explica que “durante la vaga, enfermeras, asociaciones y otros sindicatos más pequeños nos contactaron desde Andalucía, Aragón, Galicia, Madrid, País Vasco y Valencia para pedirnos información. Hicimos una reunión online y surgió esta semilla de intentar hacer algo conjunto a nivel de territorio, donde cada sindicato o asociación replicara lo que es Infermeres de Catalunya aquí pero con su independencia sindical y con su propia manera de hacer, pero formando parte de esta confederación para poder ir juntos a la hora de reclamar algo conjunto”. De este modo, “tendremos nuestra identidad y nuestra independencia sindical, porque cada comunidad tiene su idiosincracia y sus problemas, pero para reivindicar cosas transversales, como por ejemplo la recalificación, podemos organizar acciones conjuntas a nivel de todo el Estado. Ésta es un poco la idea”, añade.
Aunque la iniciativa es muy prematura y deben acabar de perfilarse muchas cosas, Guirado se muestra convencida de que “esta idea puede tener mucha fuerza y puede convertirse en una alternativa al sindicalismo más antiguo que está más implementado en el territorio; se trata de hacer un sindicalismo más adaptado a las necesidades de las enfermeras en la actualidad”.
La gran particularidad de Infermeres de Catalunya es que es un sindicato exclusivo para enfermeras y enfermeros de Cataluña, sin subvenciones estatales y en el que las delegadas y delegados sindicales no están liberados y, por tanto, no se desvinculan de la labor asistencial ni se alejan de la realidad de los centros sanitarios. En este sentido, Núria Guirado destaca que “actualmente, muchas trabajadoras no confían en los sindicatos porque la visión del sindicato es el de aquellas personas que vienen a vernos cuando hay elecciones, con libretas, bolis y cursos de formación, y ya está. Pero nosotros creemos en un sindicalismo de lucha real por los derechos de las trabajadoras; en un sindicalismo libre de subvenciones y libre de afinidades políticas, somos enfermeras defendiendo enfermeras con un buen gabinete jurídico detrás; y estos son nuestros valores, y nuestra idea es hacer un sindicalismo así”. En cuanto a la nueva etapa conjunta con diferentes colectivos de enfermería de todo el Estado español, Guirado apunta que “Infermeres de Catalunya se hace mayor en músculo y en redes, y espero y deseo que vayamos creciendo manteniendo éstos valores que nos identifican, porque si perdemos nuestra identidad, perdemos toda la credibilidad; tenemos que crecer, pero no a cualquier precio”.
La revolución sanitaria llega a Madrid
Cerca de un millar de enfermeras provenientes de Cataluña y de otras partes del territorio español se desplazaron el pasado viernes a Madrid para manifestarse delante del Ministerio de Sanidad, coincidiendo con la reunión del conseller de Salut, Manel Balcells con la ministra Mónica García.
Según el departamento de Salud de la Generalitat, la reunión se realizó en buena sintonía y, de entre los compromisos alcanzados, Balcells destacó, en primer lugar, el de la reclasificación de los profesionales sanitarios este mismo 2024. También resaltó que la ministra trabajará para cerrarlo con Función Pública, de quien depende esta recategorización, y en cuanto a la remuneración económica que comportarán estos cambios, añadió que García se ha comprometido a que ese mismo año se desarrolle el estado marco, todavía pendiente. Las principales reivindicaciones del sector consistían en la reclasificación de las enfermeras en el nivel A1, el reconocimiento de las especialidades de enfermería y la jubilación a los 60 años.
Posteriormente, representantes del sindicato Infermeres de Catalunya se reunieron con el secretario de Estado de Sanidad, Javier Padilla, y la asesora del gabinete del secretario, la enfermera Alda Recas. En un comunicado, el sindicato explica que, en lo referente a la reclasificación de las enfermeras al nivel A1, desde el Ministerio se apuesta por aplicar un cambio en la clasificación utilizando los niveles MECES del Marco Europeo, donde el nivel se definiría en función de los créditos ECTS (Sistema Europeo de Transferencia de Créditos) del profesional (graduado, máster, doctorado). En general, el sindicato catalán concluye que “la sensación es que se conoce el problema, se saben las líneas de cómo abordar las necesidades de las enfermeras y esto nos transmite una visión de futuro positiva y esperanzadora”.
